Hotties of Art History

Artists. Tortured, brilliant, focused, passionate. We know 'em and love 'em, so let's celebrate them.

For anyone who appreciates the sexiness of the old masters.
A hottie with a body (which you can get a disturbingly intimate look at in Corps Étranger), Palestinian artist Mona Hatoum is a video and installation artist based in London. Although born in Beirut, she does not identify as Lebanese: “Although I was born in Lebanon, my family is Palestinian. And like the majority of Palestinians who became exiles in Lebanon after 1948, they were never able to obtain Lebanese identity cards.”[1]
Her work has dealt with a variety of complex subjects including the body, politics, exile, and social issues.
